
Despite all the warning many Company car users are ignoring the advice of their fleet car managers and are being drawn to the little red flashing light on their Blackberry Smart Phones. During a recent get together with some fairly senior executives from all areas of industry they all admitted being drawn to their phones if it indicated a new e mail or message had arrived. Some had decided that whilst driving they would put their phones in the glove box or in extreme cases in their brief cases in the boot. The temptation is huge for many of us especially with all the features these smart phones have available, do you really need to check your Twitter, Face Book or Linked in updates whilst travelling at 70mph, does the e mail telling you the sandwich van has arrived need to viewed as you pass the local school?
